SIG OPPORTUNITY GRANT

This award is offered when SIG finances are consistently healthy for a few years, and is supported by a committee keen that
SIG members should benefit from this financial stability.

A sum of £200 in total is made available for the year in question for use by one or more
SIGs, to support their ongoing development and commitment to further learning about
stammering. This might be used to pay for a particular speaker, or perhaps to support a
nominated member to attend a course, with the information shared at a future local meeting.

Applicants will be required to have a significant National membership within their local group,
and write a short piece about the intended use for the award and the merits of the project, which will be reviewed at April Committee Meetings.

CURRENTLY 2011 the grant is UNAVAILABLE as monies have been directed towards international speakers for study days e.g. Winter 2010
